“It was lovely to visit Rendcomb College; such a warm and welcoming school community. I felt honoured to represent the Imperial War Museum, especially on such an important and significant day.”

Florence, a volunteer at the Imperial War Museum, spent the morning with our librarian, Deborah Cook, who gave her a tour of the College before accompanying her to the Remembrance Day service.

During her visit, Florence photographed several historical items of significance, including our World War II memorial board, the plaque honouring Squadron Leader Vernon Douglas Page, and the commemorative tablet in St Peter’s Church.
