A Day In The Nursery

Each day in our Cirencester nursery is different with a variety of fun activities on offer during the week including ballet, cooking, music, French and sessions in our extensive Forest School.

The structure of the day follows a similar pattern with scheduled times for active play, quiet rest time and of course for that all important snack time!

A typical day can be seen in the table below however this can change during festive periods and special occasions such as World Book Day or Children in Need.

8.10am The classroom opens with free play and activities such as puzzles and Playdoh
9.00am Morning Registration and adult led activities and free play
10.00am Snack time
10.20am Outside play
11.00am Free play, cooking or Forest School
11.45am Story time
12.00pm Lunch time
12.45pm Afternoon registration (end of Morning Session)
12.55pm Outside play
1.30pm Story time
1.50pm Adult led activity (French/dance/music)
3.00pm Biscuit and story time
3.30pm Home time - after school club begins
6.00pm Final pick up time

WRAP AROUND CARE

Wrap around care is available to all children with a Morning Club available from 7.45am in which children can take part in a host of fun activities. If children wish to stay past the normal end time of 3.30pm, our after school club is available with lots of fun activities and snacks until 6pm.
