CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RENDCOMB COLLEGE SIXTH FORM STUDENTS

Congratulations to our Rendcomb College Sixth Form students, who have achieved
outstanding public examination results. An impressive 76% of grades were awarded
at A*–B, with nearly half of all grades at A* or A.

All the Staff and Governors here at Rendcomb College wish to praise these fantastic
pupils for achieving the College’s strongest examination outcomes of the past 10
years, while processing the deeply disappointing news that the College will close at
the end of this academic year. Their hard work, determination and resilience in such
challenging circumstances are truly commendable.

These results are also a testament to the dedication, expertise and unwavering
support of all our staff. Our teachers and the wider College community have worked
tirelessly to ensure that pupils have been supported to fulfil their potential. We are
enormously grateful for their commitment and full of admiration for the role they have
played in these outstanding achievements.

We are immensely proud of all our students and wish them every success as they
take the next steps in their education and future careers.

There have also been some outstanding individual achievements. Dean and Nathan
both achieved an exceptional four A* grades, while Alice also achieved a clean
sweep of three A* grades. Dean will go on to read Physics at the University of
Oxford, Nathan will study Computer Science at the University of Bath, and Alice will
study Music at the University of York.

91% of our pupils have secured their first-choice destination, with others progressing
to a diverse range of vocational and academic pathways. This breadth of
destinations reflects the diverse, holistic nature of the educational experience at
Rendcomb and the College’s commitment to enabling every pupil to find their own
route to future success.
