“The Prefects’ Dinner was a wonderful evening of celebration and conversation. Since arriving at Rendcomb I have been so impressed with our pupils, and our Upper Sixth cohort – showcased by our prefects – truly embody what Rendcomb is all about. The evening was an opportunity for us to say ‘thank you’ and it was enjoyed by all.”

On Tuesday 25th November, our Prefects were guests of honour at a special dinner, hosted by the Head of College, Andy Murphy.

The evening is an annual event to thank the Prefects for the work that they do in leading, inspiring and serving as role models for the Rendcombian community.

Tuesday’s event began with a drinks reception with members of staff in the main hall, before a festive photo opportunity alongside the Rendcomb Christmas tree!

Dressed for the occasion, pupils then moved through to the library where they enjoyed a specially prepared two-course meal. Conversation flowed with pupils sharing memories of their time at Rendcomb so far, as they prepare to continue preparations for their A level examinations in 2026.
