The event was a wonderful showcase for the talent and hard work of our pupils and staff.

The annual Rendcomb College Christmas Carol Service took place at the Parish Church of St John Baptist, Cirencester, on Wednesday 10th December 2025.

Always a wonderful occasion, the venue was full of parents and families joining pupils and staff.

The service was led by Rev’d Philip Thomas and Mrs Marie Hobbs (Chaplain of Rendcomb College). The Music Department - under the guidance of Dr Tom Edwards (Director of Music) - provided a beautiful programme of choral music by June Nixon, Malcolm Archer, John Joubert and a carol composed especially for the choir by Dr Edwards.

It included readings by pupils Isabella A, Tristan B and Saskia D as well as traditional carols sung by the congregation, accompanied by organ and brass ensemble, including: 'Once in royal David's City' and 'O little town of Bethlehem', 'O Come, all ye Faithful' and ‘Hark! The herald angels sing’. There were also prayers led by our Chapel Prefects, Ayomide A and Hannah D.

The event was a wonderful showcase for the talent and hard work of our pupils and staff. Thank you to all who came along and we are delighted to share a gallery of images from the service.
