The Rendcomb College Clay Shooting Team made their mark at the Marlborough Sporting Clay Shield on Tuesday 14th October, with strong individual and team performances.
Held at Barbury Shooting School in Wiltshire, the event brought together 40 teams from 15 schools, all competing on a challenging 40-bird sporting layout.
A huge congratulations to our Clay Pigeon Captain, Charlotte B, who achieved an impressive second place in the ladies’ category. Charlotte has been shooting for ten years at Rendcomb.
The team impressed too – finishing seventh overall - a fantastic accomplishment in a highly competitive field.
At Rendcomb, pupils have the opportunity to enjoy Clay Pigeon Shooting on site, supported by full-time APSI-qualified instructors. Coaching is available for children from Year 7 through to the end of Sixth Form.
