“The level of play was high across both sports, providing players within the Rendcomb pathway a tremendous opportunity to showcase their talents. Several impressive individual performances stood out, but the camaraderie between our players was there for all to see.”

We are pleased to share a gallery of images from a memorable Saturday of Rendcomb sport – the Jonny Wilkinson Cup and the Issy Bailey Cup.
Rendcomb’s U18 rugby and hockey teams went head-to-head against visiting schools, with matches following a minute’s silence in honour of Remembrance weekend.
Director of Sport, Luke Robinson, commented: “Saturday was a wonderful day for sport at Rendcomb. The atmosphere, both on top pitch and at the astro, was fantastic, with both locations buzzing.

He added: “I would like to thank all visiting schools for their participation, and a special mention to all parents, players, and guests for helping to generate such a supportive atmosphere.”

Our thanks to visiting schools: Clifton High School, Lewiston School, Shebbear College, Sibford School, Sir Thomas Rich’s, St David’s College (Llandudno), Stonar School, and Wells Cathedral School.
