GCSE success continues for Rendcomb College pupils

Rendcomb College is proud to announce that its GCSE success continues in 2023, with 45% of pupils achieving 9-7, an increase of 11% on 2019’s results, and an impressive 65% achieving 9-6, an increase of 10% on 2019’s results. This year's GCSE students have done exceptionally well, with this being only the second year of normal assessments and marking since 2019.

After two years of disrupted schooling, this cohort has shown resilience and passion for their subjects. Despite the high marking boundaries this year, it is clear that Rendcomb College students have performed very well academically.

Outstanding results are those of Ameline P, who achieved 9-7 grades in 11 different subjects today, and Evelyn M who achieved 9-7 in 10 different subjects. Both students have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

William W and Jack W also achieved impressive results, with both of them achieving 9-7 grades in 9 different subjects. All of the college's students are to be congratulated on their hard work and dedication.

Head of College Rob Jones commented:

I am very pleased and proud of all of our pupils who have worked so hard under such challenging circumstances. With exams being marked back at 2019 levels it is a great credit to see so many surpassing their expectations. These results are achieved because we focus on each individual helping them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.

The college is committed to providing its students with the best possible education, and these results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, staff, and parents. The college looks forward to continuing to support its students as they progress to their next stage of education and beyond.
