Sport at Rendcomb College

Sport at Rendcomb College offers a breadth of opportunity, enabling pupils to experience participation, competition and performance at a level appropriate to their stage of development. Participation in sport at both competitive and social levels are essential to a young person’s development. Our pupils are encouraged to experience the benefits of team and individual sports, are taught the importance of a healthy lifestyle and are encouraged to make exercise a lifelong activity.

Scholarship

We expect each of our student athletes to be critical thinkers and lifelong learners and we offer a range of sports to stretch and challenge them in both team and individual settings.

Leadership

Every pupil is encouraged to develop the confidence and skills required to lead people within our sport and minor games programme.

Sportsmanship

We encourage our student athletes to play all games in a manner that is true to their spirit and always with a sense of fair play. Young people learn the valuable life skill of coping with success and failure in competitive environments.
