The Old Rectory
From September 2019 the Year 7-9 boys will join the girls in the new co-educational Godman House which is currently undergoing an extension and refurbishment. The House will have separate boys' and girls' wings with communal spaces in the centre.
The Old Rectory has been a home from home for Rendcomb College students since 1966 and as a Grade II listed building it has plenty of character although its enchanting exterior and corridors belies its contemporary facilities including a private Skype room, modern kitchen, cinema/ Xbox room and music practice area.
The 11-14 year old boys thrive in the lively, close-knit community whilst being nurtured by the Houseparents and their pastoral team. The boys socialise across the three year groups and also meet up with the Godman House girls, especially on Friday evenings. The boys are encouraged to develop into well-rounded, young gentlemen who respect and support each other in all aspects of the College.
Activities take place in the evenings and at weekends which appeal to all ages; whether it is canoeing down the River Wye, seeing the latest blockbuster at the cinema or cheering on the Gloucester Rugby team at Kingsholm.
