Moving Up to Senior School
Throughout your child’s time at the Junior School, they will have many opportunities to interact with the Senior part of the College. We view Rendcomb College as a ‘through-school’ and very much as a family environment. Your child will take part in Big Brother and Big Sister days, along with an experience in our Senior School Houses in preparation for life ahead of Juniors. He or she will engage with Senior students during some lessons, where the elder students act as a source of support and learning.
Pupils in Year 6 will sit our 11+ Entrance Examinations in the January preceding the September of joining the Senior School. The application deadline for the assessment day will be at the end of the Michaelmas Term in Year 6. The assessment day involves a written test, an online CEM test and an outdoor education afternoon.
Junior School pupils are automatically registered for entry into the Senior School, therefore no fee is required. In addition, for parents of Rendcomb College Junior School pupils we offer a loyalty discount of 10% of the annual school fees for the Senior School (Year 7 – 11), if your child has been in the Junior School since Year 4 or longer.
