Lacrosse
Lacrosse, which originated hundreds of years ago with the Iroquois Indians, has today developed into a fast paced, high scoring game. Lacrosse is similar to other team sports, though the ball is propelled aerially by the use of a stick. Players must possess speed, agility and strength.
Rendcomb College has established itself as a key exponent of lacrosse in the South West. 1st and 2nd senior teams, U15, U14, U13, U12 teams represent the College in a variety of matches and tournaments throughout the Lent Term.
The success that Rendcomb has achieved through the lacrosse programme promises continued progress in the future. In recent years our students have represented Scotland and Wales at U19 level, and Gloucestershire at U19 and U15 level. We are currently the National Small School's Lacrosse Champions.
The future for lacrosse at Rendcomb has seldom, if ever, looked brighter.
