Mrs Marina Kinson
Qualifications: BA (Hons) History; PGCE History Secondary; BSA Professional Development Certificate in Boarding Education.
Mrs Kinson has been at Rendcomb College for over 11 years holding a variety of positions in that time including Head of Year 11 Careers and the Head of Sixth Form. Prior to joining Rendcomb Mrs Kinson held positions as Head of a variety of areas including History, Geography, Religious Studies and Careers across a number of schools.
Mrs Kinson currently teaches History in Rendcomb as well as her role as a Houseparent.
Outside of Rendcomb Mrs Kinson enjoys Pilates and walking her two dogs, Tilly and Leo, when they can prize them away from giving cuddles to the boarders!

Mrs Kinson’s favourite boarding activity the Nintendo Wii which the girls regularly play on together. “You would be surprised how competitive these girls get sometimes!”
“As a houseparent my main aim is to create a positive, happy environment in the house for both day pupils and boarders and make everyone feel welcome at all time.”
“We have a very positive relationship with our girls and this, combined with my previous experience, allows us to prepare the girls for the move up to Sixth Form and beyond in a way that they find effective and approachable.”
FUN FACT: Mrs Kinson once did a solo static line parachute jump!
