Headmaster's News

Dear Parents,

This letter is being written the morning after our excellent Carol Service in Christ Church Cheltenham with the sounds of O Come All Ye Faithful still ringing in my ears. What a wonderful occasion it was with excellent singing from the choir under the leadership of Mr McKelvey and confident readings from all constituents of the Rendcomb family. It has been a very good term, as we heard from our reviews at Headmaster’s Assembly yesterday morning and as you can see from the senior school newsletter.

Three weeks into term and with an exeat weekend in sight, I hope that your children have settled down well to routines in the senior school. It has been a particularly frenetic start for our first form with our Charity Cycle Ride at the end of week one and last week’s Adventure Weekend, organised by Mr and Mrs Brealy and attended by my twin brother and myself. Both of these occasions were well supported by pupils, staff and parents. At the other end of the age spectrum, Mr Marsden and his staff are supporting our Upper Sixth on their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition.
