The Best of Both Worlds

We encourage our pupils to have a work hard, play harder mantra, and we believe we have achieved this through our newly refurbished, co-educational, dedicated Sixth Form house. Set apart from the lower school, it includes comfortable individual study bedrooms with  attractive and well equipped areas to relax, cook and enjoy each other's company.

Park House opened in September 2001, providing co-educational accommodation for the Sixth Form. Since then, the house has become a pivotal part of our aim to nurture well rounded, confident, young adults. The transition from Fifth to Sixth Form is just one stage of this process and within a supportive environment, not one governed by rules in the oppressive sense, but rooted in the reasonable expectations that one might have of young adults, our Sixth Formers are more than prepared for the adult world by the time they leave us.

On a day to day basis, the house operates as the hub of Sixth Form life at Rendcomb, providing a friendly, fun and social space for both boys and girls. Now recently renovated and refurbished, it boasts a large spacious common room with cafĂ©-style bar, fully equipped kitchens, an ICT suite and modern individual study bedrooms. The Sixth Form have access to their own social club "The Green Room". Open on Thursday evenings, it provides an additional space for our Sixth Formers to unwind, dance and show off their cooking skills!
