When James Mudge and Luke Nixon started a theatrical production company whilst in Rendcomb’s 4th Form, most people doubted it would amount to anything serious. Three years, two plays and one comedy night later NM Generation seems to be hitting its stride.
Their most recent productions include a short film and play titled Faith, and a spoof talent show entitled Live Night. Whilst Faith is a relatively small production, only fifty minutes in length and a cast of eight, the boys have big hopes for it. “We’ve written and produced our own work before but this is the first time we’re not only looking at multiple dates, but also multiple venues. This is probably our biggest undertaking so far and something that we’re both really excited about,” said Mudge. Faith will be performed throughout the Cotswolds in March and April before making its worldwide debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
