Over the last term J3 have been studying Roman Britain and learning Latin at the same time.
The Minimus stories are based on a real family living in Roman Britain at Vindolanda Fort.
Through these stories J3 have learnt about school and home life and how the language works.
This culminated in a fantastic assembly where J3 performed a play in Latin and English,
even singing Old MacDonald had a Farm in Latin!
J3 will be studying French again after Easter but Minimus is staying and there will be a new Latin Club for the J3-6 at lunchtime.
