R E
Pupils in Forms 1 - 5 have one RE lesson per week and this is a non-examined subject. The aim is to provide a programme of study that gives pupils an introduction to the Old and New Testaments, early Church history and some of the major world religions including Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism. The issues covered are appropriately progressively more challenging and designed to develop pupils' spiritual and moral awareness, understanding and toleration.
Each week, all pupils attend services in St Peter's Church, Rendcomb.
